Problems with Pertronix Igniter II.......

I just bought a new pertronix igniter II and i am noticing when #1 Piston is at TDC and lined up with the balancer, the distributor isnt pointing at 1 on the distributor its almost at 8?? The strange thing is when i have put my MSD 8534 in it lines up correctly to #1. Is there something i am missing or is this new distributor Messed up???? I put a few pics as reference.

Not all distributors have the drive tang aligned the same way in reference to the rotor. You can either walk the intermediate shaft around with a screwdriver, I would simply re "plug" the plug wires

Ok, that makes sense!! Thanks for the help. Seemed odd that they wouldnt be in the same correlation.
