Procar doesn’t make seat brackets for the 65 Dart, but they do for the 65 Barracuda. Will these work for me? Anyone installed procar seats in your 63-66 Early A?

 <---- Because I want better seats in my car too. I want buckets that are high enough to provide a headrest, because I'm too old to get my neck broke because of some dipstick fiddling with their phone.

FWIW, I think those Barracuda brackets should work in your Dart. As far as I know, an early A floor pan is an early A floor pan with maybe the only difference being length at the rear seat end.

That’s what I am thinking, but it looks like there are at least 2 options for the early barracuda. This is what I’m going with but I’m going to dye them to match the 65s interior.

I have procar in my 63 valiant. I used the universal mount and fit and welded up the perches to match the original holes. Also allows you to get the heights, slopes and legroom where you want them. Lots of fiddling around though.

I've researched ProCar brackets for my 67 Barracuda, there are at least 3 different sets that 'fit.'
And the 65-69 Barracuda brackets were incorrect for 67-69.

I've watched a ton of videos, some posted here, all seam to come to the same conclusion, "they fit, but."

Too high, too low, crooked, even when seats are adjusted.

The worst offense is seat is not centered to steering wheel.

I bought used ProCar mounts off fb, which had to be modified to fit the vehicle they came out of, and I'll have to modify.

Imo, they're going to need to be modified no matter what, buy the least expensive brackets.

These are the brackets and seats that I ended up using on my 67 Barracuda. Not sure if this will help anyone here, or if these would fit the early A models. They bolted right in to the existing holes. I did add a few shims under the front to get them leveled out but I'm very happy with the fit and comfort!
I believe I ordered the seats through Summit and the brackets through Jegs because Procar didn't have any in stock on their own website.
