If there were only 20 some thousand Gt built in 67 I was wondering on the VIN on my car is 200377 did Chrysler start at 200,000 and count up? The build date was Nov of 66,and the delivery date was Dec 1, soldin March. My question is this, is this the 377 Gt built for 1967.

Nope.

Hamtramck had two assembly lines & one VIN system for both lines.

The first VIN assigned ended with 100001

The cars were all mixed up on the lines too, 2 doors, four doors, Darts models, Barracudas, Valiants & they were not built in VIN order or in groups of all the same type of car.

So according to the VIN it could have been the first (GT) or the last or somewhere in between?? But isn't there a list of GT VINs (in numerical order)??

No such list exists.

To know which GT it was, you would have to have complete plant records from every plant that made them & do some serious investigation work.

Complete plant records do not exist though........
