And so it begins.... It will probably have more waves than a parade but at least it's all one color!

You do realize that the front wheel openings do need to match the rear wheel openings.

I guess that will have to wait for the next go around.

Whats that I hear .... Trans Am sedan racing look in Sublime :)

I must have missed that rule.... Not a fan of the SS cuts either...

From humble beginnings this project dubbed as "beater" has turned out to be pretty sweet. The A/C blows cold and it does pretty well on gas being a slant 6 car. Found in a field with a wrinkled right fender, numerous dents and sans engine and tranny it borrowed a 74 vintage engine and trans from a Duster that was ravaged by fire. Suspension upgrades include front disc from an 85 5th Ave and B-Body 8.75 rear axle. The electrical has been upgraded to eliminate the problematic bulkhead and ammeter issues. I'm still sanding and buffing a few spots and have a perfect hood to replace the satin black one as soon as I get it painted. Kinda like the black one though...
Future upgrades may include the "small block turbo" project engine.
