well I have got the /6 out and ready to remove the trans but bad news the car is rotten nedds all new floors and frame . Im a stubborn bloke and will not let this car go to the bone yard so its getting a brand new full frame custom build frome the front doors back will remove every thing from the A piller back to the trunk and replace it with a 2X3 tube
frame fully tied to the rockers and front horns . Then build new floor pans to weld back in wish me luck im going to need it on this one

ps started building my 3' high jack stands to put the car on will post pics tomorrow

Oh the memories...reminds me of doing my 66 Dart, but went with a big cube(410c.i)small block instead.Made the job much easier.

well got some more done today removed the trans and got the rest of my tubing together so i can start removing the old floor and sub frame to be replaced with a new full frame and with 100 wall tube it will outlast me

Sweet. I will be watching this thread as I work on my 64 Valiant. Welcome to site. Nice to have another local on the board.

I am curious which headers are you using and will they fit past the drivers side? I have a 360 in mine with fenderwell headers. John

thats what is going into my car 354 hemi dual 4s 280 cam 340 high volume oil pump clevite bearings 10.1 pistons all the good stuff headers are block huggers and going rack and pinion steering coil over front springs will document every thing here.

I have a set of C5 spindles and control arms I may try and see if i can use them in this build

Great. Can wait to see the 354 installed.

Do you have more pictures of the car so we can see all the " before " shots?
