This kit has really bad instructions. So ya kinda got to know where things already go on some things . It's It's good thing I build most of my stuff with out them. Because parts are not numbered on the sprue. Just an FYI. Also fitment so far is bad as well alot of tweeks are needed not a kit I would call a 1st timer kit. But it's still fun

Very cool, Asa! Along those same lines, this is Buddy Ebsen's last performance as Jed Clampett. This is from the last movie in 1993 when he was 85 years old.

Since you're going to give it to your Mom, I wouldn't do it (I know how you are when someone plants a seed :D ) but I always thought it would be cool to rod that kit. Kinda like the Munster's Coach.

If you remember, Jethro did that in an episode, but Jed made him put it back. lol

actually this kit has that option to make it the hot rod version. But like ya said I'm not building it that way. Now if I find another kit cheap I may get it and build it that way .. any way heres where I'm at tonight whethering on the body and frame started granny's bench.

Love Bluegrass! Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs! Roy Clark sitting in as well.

And some more trivia.....it wasn't a truck at all. It was a 1921 Oldsmobile Model 43A touring car. I always thought it was a Chrysler product of some sort, since Chrysler sponsored the program, but it wasn't. You can see it plain as day, too.
