It's time to start rebuilding the front end on my '68 Dart. Not many Mopars in the wrecking yards around here, so it looks like I'll be buying all new parts. Can anyone comment on PST's polygraphite front end kits? Also, how about their disc brake kits? I noticed SSBC was about $100.00 less. But no free shipping offers.
What about front sway bars? My car didn't come with a sway bar. Is there a thread that details adding the tabs to the LCA's?

PST kits have always worked well for me and they are priced right as well. I just purchased my third in fifteen years, one for a duster, one for a challenger and now one for my barracuda. I don't know about their breaks I use Right Stuff.

If you put a big sway bar on the front you will want to add one to the back to balance it out. It will handle a whole lot better. SSBC brakes will work really well. Panic stopping with drums can be too exciting.

I love my PST stuff on my E body. Feels great and handles very well!

Just a shot in the dark but does PST offer any discounts to FABO members, I was jus wondering b/c they advertise on here a lot

Got a full PST kit for my duster. Made me happy to have nice stiffer than stock kit, called them on the phone to place the order, they even sized my front sway bar bushings and straps for the size I "planned" to get. 1 1/4. The kit supplied LCA bushings are stock looking rubbers, the rest was polygraphite. I remember the ball joints and tie rod ends not being made in the US.. You may want to ask them about that.. The only thing excluded was inner tie rod ends, idler arm, pitman arm, and tie rod sleeves (suppose that would be normal, first time I bought a front end kit). Picked all that other stuff up at the A-zone for good prices. Heck the tie rod sleeves are 11 bucks each..

Installed Pro Spicer line of front end components along with Hotchkiss upgrades.
This was a on a 1970 factory Duster 340. Also added a Firm Feel fast ratio steering box.

The car performed way beyond any factory 340 A body that I have owned, in fact, I 'd highly recommend Hotchkiss to anyone.

The Pro Spicer line is top of the line components, and they have displaced Moog (which was original equipment spec. on factory 340 cars) as the best aftermarket supplier of high end front suspension components. Moog is now sourced from China, and has dropped significantly down the quality scale.

Thanks for the info. I'd like to keep everything USA. I'll ask PST about that when I call them. Hotchkiss is very nice stuff. Used them before. However, this is going to be more of a straight line attack than cornering. Who carries Spicer?

XRF and Spicer Pro grade front end components are considered severe duty service level, which far exceeds most of the consumer grade stuff.

Talk to Dick, owner at Firmfeel for his insights into front suspension components, he is very experienced in this area, and will share his knowledge

Google Spicer Pro grade front suspension components and you should find a supplier within your area. Also note this:

I use the Spicer "Professional"...made in the USA of all things.

Get them from rockauto.com. Usually the best price and you can do a search for discount coupons and get 5% or 10% off. Or try the following Mopar source: http://www.billrolikenterprises.com/
