PUI FRONT SEAT UPHOLSTERY PURE JUNK

Glad to see that you got where you wanted to be. I'll stick with Legendary. The idea that it's OK to sell something unserviceable, refund you for the cost of the defective product and leave you holding the bag for all of your time and effort is really bankrupt. I presume the poster who buys and installs huge amounts of restoration materials just passes on the additional cost of the work to the customer. If he had to eat the cost he would be as upset as you are...

Did you cover those yourself?
I did with assistance. My car in magazine

Trying to figure out why you didn't go with Legendary to begin with ? Anybody with a pulse knows they are the best. You tried to save a buck didn't you.

GAVE THEM A TRY.
at the time they were available right away. Legendary was going to be awhile

After my redo, I would recommend Legendary for the covers, did not get PUI covers to compare but the kicker is use PG Classic for the foam!

For most of us garage builders that are not interior specialists the PG foam is much easier and better fitting!

Both PUI and Legendary foam systems require plenty of mods and a lots of prep. For most standard type interiors PG is the way! Both Legendary and PUI seem to cater to the deluxe option seats only! IMO!

If your interior is deluxe than all good.

Watch the Legendary YouTube’s and personally I am not be impressed but love the covers!

Short cuts and not dealing with the Burlap with the re-enforcing wires woven in like original is a mistake and the seats never feel the same as the original! There are ways to recreate this if your interwoven wires are rusted away!

All my opinion but I think relevant!

FWIW, way back in 2016, when I did the PUI covers, I ordered a sample from Legendary. I side by side comparison posted what I found. I can't attest to today's quality nor am I recommending the supplier you purchase from.

From a 6/16 post I made.....As some know I used PUI on m '69 buckets which came out pretty decent.
I just got a sample patch from Legendary (you can order sample I found) to compare with the PUI vinyl that I used. The thickness is virtually the same between the two according to my 0-1" barrel mic. The backing on the Legendary has a more uniform chain link than the PUI . Not sure how this affects performance or feel.
Left side Legendary, right side PUI....

Thanks, that looks amazing. Do you have the link handy for what covers and foam you ordered? I was on the ledgends site last night and was having difficulty finding things, partly because they won't let you search with a 66 Barracuda filter but a valiant filter was close. I couldn't find seat covers for a 66 (Hoping for white pearl) and I'm not sure the foam I found is right. Thanks

I found these:
