Well theoretically you take advertised, subtract timing at .050, divide that by two to get .050 from close. 288-235÷2=26.5° . Subtract that from your actual closing point, and run your calculator again.Engines still down to the block. Piston manufacture said the reliefs(flatops) are 5cc. Ill post up the formula they calculate to find the IVC@ 50
I put in the wrong head gasket thickness in the first go round but now here's my numbers. Also I'm at around 2000' elevation but If I go to the track its right around 1000'

This is using the above mentioned 26.5°

No, 26.5° sooner than your 74° after tdc., so .050 away from closing would be 47.5°. Try that.
I think you will get somewhere around very high eight, or 9.0
Unfortunately noDoes the cam card give you an actual ICV event number?
Unfortunately no
Howards 772105-10Who makes the cam? Do you have a part number?
Wallace has a cam events calculator. Give it advertised duration for intake and exhaust, lobe seperation, and installed centerline, it gives actual events. According to wallace, your cam is....
Ivo 38° btdc.
Ivc 70° abdc
Evo 81° bbdc
Evc 33° atdc.
Overlap 71°
Again, those numbers assume a 106° installed centerline.
Wallace came up with 11.47 c.r. too, with the numbers from his post#34.Yup.Just where I came form. lol Dynamic should be 7.8 AS LONG AS that static figure I came up with on the United Engine site is correct.
I think you need to stat measurin.
Now I'm really confused! LolYup.Just where I came form. lol Dynamic should be 7.8 AS LONG AS that static figure I came up with on the United Engine site is correct.
I think you need to start measurin.
Who isnt? Now I'm really confused! Lol
