pushbutton shifter conversion

Has anyone had their pushbutton shifter converted by Brewers to work with a later trans? If so can you describe what they did or even show pics? I'm dying to know how they do this but Brewer's won't tell me.

I kinda wonder if maybe Brewer ain't talkin' 'cause what they're actually doing is sending your pushbutton box over to Imperial Services for conversion.

yes that is who I am talking about I keep getting the two corn-fused.
Still want to know how this is done, no matter who is doing it.

You're doing well if you get Imperial Services to answer the phone or email at all. They are very difficult to get hold of! I can't really fault them for it; they are a small business, they make really nice quality specialty parts for old Mopars, and I'd rather they spent their limited time doing that rather than jawing on the phone or rattling their keyboard. As for your question about shifter conversion: I don't know. I would be interested to learn, too, from an engineering curiosity standpoint.
