I hope these are 2 or 3 simple questions.
1. Adjustable Rocker 273 Type: I keep hearing that the 3/8Ball plunger thread has an oil hole that will be covered if the thread showing below the arm is more than 2 turns! What if my 3/8 Ball plunger threads do NOT have any oil holes, does it matter if the threads stick out more than 2 turns like 3 to 4 turns?
2. I made a cam change and I checked the pushrod length with an adjustable checker and between 3/4 to 1 thread showing on the ball plunger. The new checker length pushrod needed is 7.590" from Ball to Cup with a .3125" Ball in the cup. My current pushrods that I have are .040" shorter at 7.550" length when installed will be an additional 1 turn of the screw showing, as in 1-3/4 to 2 threads showing before preload of .5 to 1 additional turns needed. Do you see any problems with 2-1/2 to 3 threads showing at my ball plunger with preload set?
