I just finished refreshing the quarter windows and frames for my 73 Duster. I have the frames back into the car. I removed them 14-15 years ago, so I can't quite remember what the screw looked like for the after mounting point. I also can't remember if there was a spacer installed between the frame and body to prevent the frame from being bent out of shape. Does anyone have an interior picture of frame and the rear screw that holds it to the body?

I don't have any pictures but, If I recall correctly, the frame of the pop-out window is held in the back lower corners with a Phillips head screw (#3) about the same size diameter & length as the armrest retaining screws, but I think, finer pitch threads. They fit right against the body, no spacer, on the ones I had.

I found some screws that will work. The reason why I thought a spacer was needed is, when I tight the screw and have is pretty snug, there is a 1/2-3/4" gap left between the body and the plastic lug on the window frame. If I tighten it anymore the frame starts bending.

I don't remember mine having spacers, and I'm almost positive they have never been out of the car before. Maybe every car is different I guess. I would probably use some kind of spacer then. The right size washers maybe?

I just looked at the pair from a 74 Duster in my basement & I did not see any witness marks on the back side of the window frames that would indicate they had any spacers. I would PM oldmanmopar on this website. I think he knows for sure about this. He's done quite a few Dusters/Demons/ Dart Sports, as far as I now.

Just did these on my Road Runner, they are probably about the same. They are difficult to install. I used DMT kit. These windows love to leak water. Pay attention to the gap between the 1/4 panel and windows, and all around. Look at the previous holes for screw size.
