So I bought the barracuda knowing the shifter in it is junk and I have the original console (not installed) but it has some Hurst V-matic shifter rigged onto the shifter bracket. My question is what shifters will fit into the center console. Specifically will this one fit? MOPAR-A-Body-B-Body-Floor-Console-Automatic-Shifter Or does someone have one for a good price? Thanks.

Want to put the console back in and swap out the shifter when I put the new carpet in. Thanks.

The B-body shifter mechanism is the same as the most common shifters. The 67 shifter does have the reverse lamp switch mounted on it. Not seen in that ebay picture.
If your 67 has a later model trans with a 3 wire switch screwed into it, you wont need the shifter with switch. Hope this helps

Hi
The 68 B-Body shifter is the same shifter as a 67 A-Body but most of the other components are not the same. That set on E- bay is missing 2 of the hardest to find pieces for the set, the vertical torque shaft (down through the floor) and the adjustable trans rod. A & B also have a different vertical torque shaft, upper rod, upper bracket that bolts to the floor and a different trans rod. I have the correct 67 pieces you need, message sent
