I was thinking about changing the standard duster instrument cluster to a ralley cluster. Has anyone done this and how differcult would it be?

you must cut out your frame to fit the rallye and make a few tabs to hole the screws. A new dash harness is needed also.

A rallye dash frame sells for $100-200 depending on color and condition.
used harnesses are hard to find nd only Year 1 has new repos for $500++

hope this helps.

I've done it. I cut the dash to make it fit. I would recommend getting the dash frame to make it easier and wiring harness. I wouldn't try cutting it again.

There are only 3 wires to move from the round main harness connecter to the rallyes secondary connecter. Those connecter pins are in a staraight line so radioshack should have a sutible connecter or you could cut off a section from a steering column harness connecter.
What holes will need to be made and what holes will be left exposed depends on what housing you start with and what bezels it has.
