question about recovering seats

hey y'all I have a question. Recently I got a 72 Dodge Demon and the back seat in it is in great shape but some of the foam is gone from where rats made a nest in it and tore it all up. can you put more foam in the seat without having to put new cover on it? any response is appreciated. Thank you

should be able to carefully pull the cover off, replace the foam then put the cover back on..

Cut the hog rings, repair the filler, re attach the same skin. Hog rings and plier are cheap enough ( ebay amazon ).

X3 cut the hog rigs with wire dikes and replace with new hog rings.

When I recovered my buckets I tossed the old hog rings and used zip ties. Much easier IMHO

Small problem with zip ties, they get brittle and break over time......

I wouldn't use zip ties either I bought brass hog rings and plies for around $20, it's a pretty easy process to do.
