Question: How to change bulb in 1968 side marker lights

Hi All,

My first time posting here, I have the following question:

I have a 1968 dodge dart, my rear side marker lights work, but my front fender ones do not. I can remove the housing from the fender, but how do you open the unit to access and change the bulb? Does it twist? Is it pressed, is there a tool for removal?

It unscrews and you can gain access to the bulb after seperating the halves.

watch, their bad about not grounding. sometimes will loose ground later on too.

Yep, that's another issue I solved back before the internet came to be. Fix includes a rubber cast 2 wire bulb socket for a bayonet base bulb ( #158, 194, 2825 ) . With a bit of wiring modification they can blink with turn too.
