1st what order do you torque the main caps and 2nd is the crank key a press/hammer in fit?

I start with the thrust bearing then center to outside and tap lightly with a hammer with the key. There is a setting procedure for the thrust bearing. You really need a book or manual to do these things properly.

Totally agree with Mike here. Buy a copy of How to Rebuild Your Small Block Mopar before you make another move. I bought one 30 Years ago, and I still use it. Also, please give a little background. Let us know what motor you are working on.
