Hello,
I am offering my Quicktime RM-6073 BB Chrysler to a-833 bellhousing for sale. Upgrading to an adjustable clutch forced me to replace this bell housing with a unit featuring an inspection / adjustment window.
This bell has 3 seasons on it in my 68 GTS. There are no major modifications however edges of the flange have been ground on in areas for various clearance issues. We also had some issues with the torque shaft bracket moving around therefore I do not recommend running much more than a 2600 lb pressure plate with this unit or any quick time bellhousing for that matter. All threaded holes in good working order.
I will include 3/8-16 bolts for the lower bolt holes and the bearing retainer insert of your choice. The block saver plate has two 1-in holes drilled in it to clear the rear oil plugs on a big block. You will have to get your own clutch Fork pivot bracket from one of the transmission vendors. The units from QuickTime are very flimsy and tend to hold up so I threw them in the scrap bin.
Not only can you save money buying my bellhousing but also time correcting all of the small errors that these units leave the factory with such as incorrectly sized bolt holes. I was able to dial this bell housing in on a 400 Chrysler block with .007 offset dowels.
