I thought I started a post but couldn't find it, oh well. So after getting the 69 Dart from my brother I have gotten stuff done, the back half is nearly finished the motor has a real plan and I have pics too!

For those that don't know my brother and me started to make a fast Dart 15 years ago, we stopped like a lot of people seem to do, he has brain cancer now and out of the blue said I could buy the Dart, so I went and got it in Mi and brought it out to Denver, I have a friend named Don Marshall that owns Town Center auto repair and said Dream Cruise August we got this!

I will be posting pics on our progress...Mopar or no car :)

In away I was forced to join this forum. A little over a year ago I friended a guy(gonzos69dart)while helping another friend with his UTV at the best in the desert race in Parker Az. Fast forward a year later he's living in my basement and his 69 Dart has taking over my garage.The project has been in his family for over 15 years ,started but never done.I forgot to mention I started a new business about a 1.5 yrs ago And for the last year this guy has been showing up to help me almost every single day so to help him on his car is my pleasure,especially when I see friends of him posting/texting he'll never finish a job that was stated so long ago,so to the no believers f@& off! And to my good friend gonzos69dart lets get r done.
 
Cool project. I went to Woodward last year and loved it. I'll be back this coming year. Although, my Dart will be done, I am doubtful it will make it to the cruise. I don't have enough vacation time to drive the Dart out there and back here.

:eek:I don't know what kinda engine this is? Sorry I had to post this pic, but a girl bent over a Engine bay is worthy of any forum discussion.The girl that runs the parts store next door wanted to borrow our top side creeper, Believe me the front looks just as good as the rear! Any female that is this interested in the work that I do every day not only grabs my attention but also earns all my respect!

Looks like you can get it done in time.I hope the best for your brother having enough time left to take the cruise in it.
