Rack and pinion help!!!

I have a 74 Plymouth duster and i am wanting to build my own setup anyone ever done this? What kind of donor can i use? Please help im new at this.

do a search for Rack and Pinion on here. You'll find some good info. Think some are using a manual rack from a Dakota. Good luck
