My friend tried it in his 440 Long Ram 70 Dart. He retained the stock K frame. Of course, it makes it a front steer car and you have to swap the steering knuckles from side to side and shorten them up and the geometry goes all to hell.
Before he passed away in April, he started to install a tubular K frame with the coil-overs but he did not get far.
I can't say that setup worked for me. I haven't put it all together yet. I hope to use the earlier front sway bar that goes around and under the K-frame in order to have both.
Lets hope someone will come along with a solution to the akerman angle puzzle. Good luck
