Radiator hose

Went to the parts store to get a flex able lower radiator hose for my 360 duster and they said that a flex able hose would not work for a lower hose, that it would collapse, is this true?

Yes, very possibly. You might be able put the spring from your old hose into the new one though?

There used to be flex hoses with that spring inside the hose wall. The springs inserted into the hose usually rust away.
