my 68 formuls S fastback is getting painted very soon. it is a big block 4 speed car. the stock radiator is tiny. i will be building a 572 motor for it. do they make a converson panel to put a 26" radiator in? what else can i do before i paint it? it really needs a bigger radiator.....

electiric fans and a shroud do wonders functional hood scoops will help a ton, bro in law runs his 68 572 800 h/p cloned super bee all day long and sit at 170-185 after 3 str8 passes i cannot beleive it runs that cool but it does

If you get a 26" crossflow radiator the actual core dimension is about 4-5" less because it's stated width counts the tanks. I have a 68 Cuda and measured it up and a 26" crossflow radiator doesn't even take up every bit of the opening side to side. Top to bottom is just a little shy of the radiator core but not much. Most radiators list their core size so what I'd do is measure your opening and compare it to the radiators your looking at.
