radio nuts

where will i find some 1/2 (looks like) nuts that hold on the radio shafts to the dash. HD, tractor supply, auto parts, nope. any body got a couple they want to get rid of. etc.

also what does the brase that hold up the radio in a 72 swinger look like. have the radio but not a brase. can make one but would like to see one. tks for the help!

This is one of those things that used to be easy to find. If you are a good scrounger and can get your hands on some old electronic junk with knob type controls, the shaft nuts under the knobs are the 3/8 fine thread you typically would need. TV set, radio, light dimmers, etc., they all are similar. You might want to try your local electronic handyman if such folk still exist. Finally, try an electronic supply house like Newark.

Most toggle switches come with one or two of them and I'm pretty sure they are the same size.
