Gauges or bezel? I used the Tach man for my gauges, and Mr. G's for for the bezel. Great work...but not cheap. you can find both are online.

looking to send the whole unit out at once many other things to concentrate on thanks for the suggestions

You are going to find that a new reproduction bezel can be had for the same or less money than restoring the original. If your plastic bezel is broken or damaged in any way, or if its brim is warped/wavy, just sell it to someone who will be happy to just spray paint it and buy yourself a new one.
That's pretty much all I'm allowed to say in this forum...
except good luck of course.

I have bought 2 aftermarket bezels so far and I am very pleased with the fit and finish.

I'm currently running a contest here between myself and 2 other members who are also restoring their rallye dashes. Look for it under the title "My New FABO Reality Show. Rani I'ma Callin' You Out!!" Some good information provided by all 3 members and based on all aspects of restoring the dash cluster and bezels.

As for the bezels, I'm using GCAR, who will completely restore the bezel, lenses and glovebox trim for what the repops cost for just the bezel, WITHOUT lenses!! If you have a good unbroken bezel, I would suggest this route, as the repopped ones are $425 just for the insturment bezel, another $195.00 just for the lenses and $95.00 for the glovebox trim. Adds up to over $600!!! GCAR does the same work for $425 for the complete bezel, lenses and glovebox trim, assuming no repair work is necessary!! There is a 10-12 week wait though, a big drawback if your stuff is not already there!!

As for the guages, I hear Insturment Specialties does an awesome job, but again very pricy!! Worth it though if your guages really need help!! Geof

Get a hold of Ben at http://www.demonivr.com/index.html. He can rebuild the gauges including re-winding, refacing, calibrating and also removal of the choke point in the rallye gauges, the internal voltage limiter inside the fuel gauge. There are a limited few who do this and his price point is as good or better than the others.
The Bezel restoration as recommended above is a different art and again very few do vacuum metal plating (plastic chrome) anymore probably less than a hand full in the country. For the price it is better to purchase a new one as the cost is nearly the same especially if repair is needed on yours. Sell yours and recoup money and that will make it less expensive then redoing yours. The Duster lenses can be easily polished and the pods are black, not chrome, like the barracuda and easily painted.
I just finished doing some exhaustive research on this exact same thing.
http://www.classicindustries.com/mopar/parts/ma577.html has the bezel with glove box trim and wood grain for 444.

Watching this one closely as I am also looking for a REPUTABLE cluster restoration service as I have had one disastrous dealing with someone already and lost a cluster over it.

DUST UM ALL,

Here is the $445 bezel they are talking about.....it is a thing of beauty!

I used "dashworx" to restore my speedometer...they did an awsome job, with about a 4 week turn-around.

A big thanks to all who posted this site has awesome members who go above and beyond it makes Mopar resto a little easier Tom
