Ralley Tach or Performance gague

I'm looking for a ralley tach to go in the center hole in my '67 Barracuda. New ones are very pricey.

New ones (reproductions) are around $200. An original will probably cost more, be less accurate and may not even work.

Also…

The reproductions read to 8,000 rpm where the originals only go to 6,000 rpm.

Just some things to think about.

when a good used performance indicater can be had for 30.00 and a restored clock is about 125.00, its hard to justify the price of a tach.

Im in somewhat the same boat as you....I have an NOS clock and a performance indicator, but want a tach! Like the post abv said the go from 0-8000 on the repros and very pricy. Let me know if you're interested in the clock or the performance indicator. My email is cuda169[at]hotmail.com

FYI…. You need the adjusting cable for the clock to work.

You'll need the adjusting cable to set the clock. If you're like me and set the ground cable off when you park the car you'll really need the cable.
