I would go for either the Prostars or steel wheels with dog dish caps. Rallye didnt come out till 70 and they just never look right on earlier cars to me.

I had Centerlines on ine.

Adam I've been meaning to ask you what size wheel, tire and back spacing that you used on your cuda? I want to make sure that I'm dead set on leaf spring location before I order the wheels. I'm shooting for 275/60/15 on the rear.

hey if you go pro stars can i buy your ralleys if there size i need?

Sure but it might be awhile before I get the new wheels. The wheels I have are 14" large bolt pattern on the front and 15" large bolt pattern on the rear.

i jsut want the rears. i could even send you my 14s but when do you think you will get new wheels?

That picture is a 225-75-15 or something odd. They were free bes. I had 275-60-15s on it but after moving the springs. They may fit without moving the springs with a 4.5 or 4.25" backspacing. My rims were 15X8.5" with 4-7/8" back spacing.

I'm just curious of what the members of FABO thinks would look the best for my ride.

Hands down the Weld Wheels. Personally, I never did care for the Rallye Wheels, they look too "dressed-up" for my tastes. Like they should be used with white walls.....:pukerigh:

But those 5 spoke Welds.... on a Fastback..... WOW. :love10:

THAT'S why I'm selling my Centerlines to my buddy Tom for his Dart. When / if I do pull off the steelies w/ caps, 5 spoke Welds are going on. No other choice.

i just need a tall tire becasue i think im going to go 4.10 gears that i found like dirt cheap and they look good in the pics so i need a 28in tire

The rallye wheels are ok, but look so bland. I have a nice set for my 1974 Dart Sport, however they look weak and boring after I bought the Pro-Stars I have. Not too mention the weight savings (more importantly it is unsprung weight and rotational mass).

I know muscle cars guys usually do not care much about this stuff, but every little bit helps. Having your car look bad@ss is not such a terrible thing either.

i dig the steelies too

whoops, meant this:

SWEET ! Just before I bought my Barracuda I had a `65 Dart. It was a 54,000 mile survivor that needed a right fender and candy canes. Otherwise it was a dead stock grand-ma special. White with a red gut, 2 dr. post, 170 / auto. One of these days I'll dig out the pictures and scan them.

Should have kept that one too.... :banghead:

OK.

One more question...LOL!

When you said that you moved the springs was it the 3'' kit or the offset kit?

I'm getting this information so I can keep it handy. I've asked you these questions before but failed to write it down.

I used the 3" kit but because I didnt mini tub it I could have gained just as much room with the offset shackle kit. In other words a 275-60-15 will fit with just the offset shackles.

these are 275-60-15s
