Hello Fabo!

I purchased this Ram clutch kit for my 70 Dart. It has a 500 HP/TQ small block 408 stroker. My brother rebuilt a 23 spline 833 for it, and I have a hurst comp. plus shifter...

The clutch kit I bought was this borg and beck style unit from summit:

And this is the Ram billet steel flywheel I got.

What are your thoughts on this setup? Anyone use it before? Good? Bad? My car will be 90% street driven. Occasional strip to see what I can run...Hopefully mid 11's. lol

Also, I am looking to get a hydromax hydraulic throw out bearing kit for it, I want to do away with mechanical linkage.

Seems expensive to me but as long as the pressure plate has at least 2800lbs of pressure that disc should hook up good.

If you do order the American Powertrain one, call them and ask if they can cut you a discount deal. They gave me everything with shipping to Sunnyvale for 600. But I'm still waiting on it because the throwout bearing is on backorder.

I've got a RAM Muscle Car series clutch in my 5.7 swap in front of my 833. It holds well, but I think it may be a little on the grabby side if anything. My clutch linkage is a total mess though, so that probably has more to do with it than anything. It's just hard to get the car to take off smoothly around town. You either have to really wind it up and slip the clutch a bunch to keep it from dragging the rpm down or just put up with it bucking a little on take off. I think some of the issue might be in the tune as well, still trying to get it all sorted out with the new fuel injection.
