Jesus man... It took me a full year to find a 360 block (that was under $800) that guy shoulda been happy as hell with it.

Hey MM, do you do your own machining or have a local place you trust? My block has been at the machinist for 3.5 months and i don't think it's going to get done by xmas (not joking) for a 30 over and decking... I'm just curious how people actually get stuff done in less than a year like this. I haven't taken a block in in 25 years and that time was less than a week, i know things have changed but damn..

P.S. have any spare stroker bottom ends laying around? :) I am just hoping to have one done for spring.
Steve Morris did all my short-block machining. I have no bottom-end pieces for a SBM....sorry.

(LOL!) Can I get an "Amen", people? Hallelujah!

Sorry, don't know what I was thinkin', but MANY moons ago I put a 327 into a '68 Cougar :realcrazy: for no other reason than I had all the **** lying around and was basically given the body (sans engine/transmission)- didn't keep it long-term, but it caused a lot of WTF's at the drive-ins.

Reminds me of a friend of a friend thing....

Back in '82 or so my buddy Earl had a buddy (Dave) who had a '68 Camaro with a 302. And not a Chevy 302....

He pissed off a LOT of people with that car!

Wow! This is NOT a political post (and please don't "go there", people) but check out what the pressure wave from a bomb can do to a car (picture from Kiev, according to what I read):

That ain't just "buffing out".
