 Long ago, my buddy had a Vega. He and his brother owned a body shop/towing service. Towing led to many lien sale cars. One of those cars had a vintage Wolf Whistle on it and the buddy decided he wanted it on the Vega. That model wolf whistle operated off manifold vacuum. After installing it he found that used up Vegas didn't have enough vacuum to make it function properly :wtf:. Only time he could use it was at WOT  Any other time it would kill the motor

now deceased friend built a V8 Vega. used the old Chevelle bolt-on ladder bars to locate rear axle. they were welded to the axle housing but the front mounts, with rubber bushings hanging out, were bolted to something in the floor. wonder what happened to that car?

If I remember right, the Vega used a 4 link suspension, so I wonder how that worked for your buddy, and what changes he made? If he left the 4 link mostly stock I think he would have had an awful lot of bind....

the ladder bars were the lower control arms, not sure what he did for uppers or a link of some kind to the frame. I'm thinking more of the front mounts ripping out of the floor.

Got some new key blanks, the ignition key that came with my car is a bit worn, i am having to wiggle it to turn now (hoping the key is the issue) Sadly the truck key won't fit my trunk lock. but the old key works fine there...

Now i need to get them cut

Why won't the Mopar trunk key not fit your trunk lock?

Slots in it aren't right.. i think 62 were different? Original has 2 slots, new one has a single slot in a different spot
