I still have several that I maintain for the grandkids.

Yeah. My dad still has my old 33's, and he taught his grandkids (my sister's kids) to fish with 'em as well.

Yep, highly maintained machine from a great family business. Full service done in May after the snow was gone. 4 hours since all fluids, filters, fully greased and ready to go, only has 2568 hours on it. The Father, 80, decided it was time to treat himself to a new machine... so they listed this one. I stole it for $29,500 Cdn delivered! They had 23 people wanting it with some offering 10 and 15 grand more, but I was first and they kept their word that it was mine!

I love hearing stories like this! When I sell things on CL or Marketplace I always deal "first come, first served". Often enough I get someone offering me more $$$ to bump them up the line, but I stick with my guns. And my conscience.

I think Jim McKay and Wide World of Sports showed me what lead up to that. Lions closed before we were old enough to get ourselves there. But I drove past the abandoned facility for years before it was demolished and turned into a parking lot for storage containers
