My hp 125 died over a year ago then I installed my back up Jegs pump until it started cavitation recently so I decided to install the HP 150 and dialed my regulator in for 6.5 PSI.

I immediately noticed it hits much harder than the very quiet HP 125 but so far my throttle response is killer, idles great and WOT was met with quick response.

The pump was also very cool to the touch after a 40 minute cruise in the mountains with several periods of WOT and sitting through a couple red lights near my house.

I was very pleased at how cool the pump was to the touch.

I changed one thing with the new pump install and ran a 10 gauge wire from the negative battery post to the pump ground instead of the chassis ground. I was using.

So far so good, and if/ when this pump fails I'm going with a mechanical.

Yes, this may be too much pump for my application but I've heard some good reviews from friends about them.
