True story covering an attempted California bank robbery. Anyone seen it? Trivia found on IMDB:

Over 40,000 rounds of blank ammunition was expended in the filming of the almost thirty minute car chase/shootout.

If that was the Hollywood bank robbery with the hopped up guys in body armor..? That was some serious **** when it went down. Changed LAPD policy on arming police with long guns and tactics. They let one of the robber guys bleed out and die because it "wasn't safe to go and treat him" with all the other guys shooting. The family of the guy actually tried to sue the city for letting him die! Another one blew his own head off with a pistol. Forgot the 3rd ones fate. They play the condensed radio calls every anniversary, about 9 minutes of cops and paramedics screaming at each other to get down, shoot the F'n bastards and cops calling for bigger guns as the .38 rounds were 'bouncing off the body armor'. They actually commandeered a gun stores AR's and ammo to hit back with something better than 38's and shotguns.
