Like holy crap! These stock castings are so bad, some areas are not even casted center to the valve on these 675 castings. Anyway, here are my early ported pics and the rough casting slag and stuff.

I have done more porting and touch up since, so more photos to come.
Hopefully they work well on my 318.

I'd say you have a really nice start.

One burr tried to become a noodle, it was a bit off balance.

That bur can be cut off and still used. Do yourself a big favor and go to Harbor freight and get yourself a router speed control. You can slow that sucker down to a controlled speed. They go on sale often but cost around 30.00 if not on sale.
That's a good idea, this kinda spins too fast anyway. Before I bought this cutting/grinding tool, I was using the rotozip until the fan broke, which I think was a bit slower.

Brand new burrs really like to catch grab and bind. While I have use for sharp fresh burrs I also have use for dull burrs. After bulk material removal/cleanup the dull burrs work great for the near final surface work. And your port work looks fantastic.

I’m kinda spoiled as I use a setup like a Dentist uses (Foredom grinder). I have a foot speed controller that are also available to buy separately.

Thank for the compliments. Anyway, I finished porting both heads, I followed the info from the thread "318 head porting for the average joe", some videos online from, David Vizard, Eric Weingartner, 318WillRun, Uncle Tony's Garage, and a few articles online.
Well... I might do some sanding in the exhaust ports to make them a bit smoother, but they are smoother than they look.
