RB Torker intake

My buddy swears if I swap out my ancient Torker intake on my 440 that I will pick up a ton. Has anyone experienced this and what intake did you use? I am running 12.8:1 compression and a big 280 @.050 .620 lift solid cam. Shift points are 6500rpm.

Swap it out for what? Those Torkers were better intakes than a lot of people thought. Hot Rod did a shootout on them and they didn't give a lot on the bottom side.

Torker isnt abad part, but for what you have I'd run an M1 with an open spacer if it was being built now, or possibly the Indy -2D dual plane depending on the engine's use and the whole package.
