I have new Split mono leaf springs installed on the Duster, and there is a bracket race in Baytown the 1st weekend in February!
Looking to get to the track in January to adjust shocks/caltracs to the new springs.
Believe it or not, we may have warm enough weather down here to make it happen!
Fingers crossed!
BTW I have new "Plymouth" decals to go on the rear quarters. Tired of hearing "nice Nova" in the pits...

"Al Bundy" calls them Dusters Dodges . Make sure she tracks straight or you'll bury her

what is hard to believe about it being warm enough to race in that area in January?…lol
the average daily temp in the middle of January is in the 60’s. 63 to be exact. 64 by the 1st of Feb, then it goes up quick
plenty warm to test during daylight, especially.
I lived down there in the 80’s. Both Houston and Austin. Often get days in the 70’s during the dead of winter too.
Looked it up, 9 days 70 or better, 10 days in the 60’s last January. Your odds are very good to race.

About 72 degrees Sunday afternoon at the track. Yes, they were open for TNT on New Year's Day! The place was packed!
My car hooked and ran straight the 1st pass! Made 3 passes and went home. Very pleased with results. Ready to go racing in Baytown in February.
I might make 1 more trip to XRP on a Sunday in January if there is decent weather.
FYI I had a semi parked on either side of me in the pits. Both of them rolled out nitro methane burning funny cars! That was fun!
