Will the rear bumper brackets for a 1972 Swinger work on a 1974 Swinger. The brackets that I have for the 74 are the shock absorber ones and I don't need that as I am using fiberglass bumpers for a bracket car.

Don't think so, but don't know it for fact. The 72 bumper sits higher on the body than the 74 & beyond. The profile shape is different, too. Where the 72 is rounded in profile view, the 74 is flat.

No they wont interchange. If it is for a glass bumper on a drag car you could always make your own from a peice of aluminum or even just weld some thin strips of metal to the back of the car coming out then put some dutz fasteners on the end to connect it to the bumper.
