Has anyone installed this disc kit before if so where did you place the calipers? A body 8 3/4 rear on dart.Because no matter how I look at it the bleeder would not face up. Thank you

I put Dr Diff 10.7 inch rear disc on my Dana. Same kit fits 8 3/4 rear. If you haven't bought yet I recommend Dr Diff due to his mopar expertise, high quality parts, and excellent customer service

That looks like the TSM Kits I used to sell. ( was a dealer ) if so used the rear Caddy Eldorado calipers if you wanted parking brakes. And Chevy front calipers if no park brake was wanted.

I think I sold Kevin Feets this kit. I might have more pics of them on his old B Body Twin turbo 440. He painted the calipers red.
From memory he got good used calipers at a you pull it. Cleaned them up
Note. Most have problems if they do not set the parking brakes on a regular basis. They must be used now and then to stay adjusted right.
Or run the calipers that do not have the parking option. The cheaper Chevy Fronts
(These calipers come from 78-83 Chevelle, Monte Carlo, El Camino, Malibu, Tempest, Cutlass, F-85, Pontiac Grand prix, Le Mans, GTO, Grand Am, and Bonneville)

I agree they are left and right
Do you have any pics? What your saying is this kit can't be used then? I would have to have them installed in the bottom of caliper in order to have the bleeder straight up

that kit is less than thrilling.

you need to "clock" the caliper and adapter to get the best possible angle of the bleed screw. and for me it never pointed straight up or was at the tippy-top.

the parking brake levers are a joke, but at least they sell some with 12-points instead of six so you have a little better adjustment.

but to the point above, yes there is a left and a right.

Do you have pics by chance? Does it still bleed properly? Will it leave bubbles? Is this ok?

Don't be afraid to pull them off the mount in order to get the bleeders pointed up. You can block the pads with a piece of wood or hard nylon, get all the air out, and then remount them. I've used a hand held back massager to get even more air out, but didn't tell the girlfriend.

I've been using this device to help eliminate the rears from locking up upon hard, sudden braking with great success.

The left and right marking on the calipers is for the original application. It does not matter which side they are on if it puts the bleeder on top.

Yea but the problem was no mater how I put it the bleeder is facing sideways . The only way it would be up is if I put the calipers at 6oclock. I spoke with my cousin and he said put them on as intended because that's probably what they are intended for I guess. I'm still trying to see if someone has a picture of this kit themselves. So I have a idea of it.

Post actual pics of your kit and how the calipers won't fit above the axle.

I never said they dont fit i said the bleeder isn't facing up but unless I put the calipers at 6 o'clock but I have at 9 right now and the bleeder face about 9 also

Looks fine. Doesn't need to point straight up, just be as high as the top of the piston.

Not able to see orientation of calipers in picture? Can't see where bleeder screws are either?

The device does not reduce peak line pressure. You can still lock up the brakes if that's what you want. It simply softens the initial spike in line pressure surge from a sudden hard brake application, which (especially with drum brakes) can cause the rear wheels to unexpectedly lock up when you are just trying to scrub some speed.

I rarely if ever what to lock up my wheels while driving, as it can lead to a loss of control.
