Rear end 7 1/4 to 8 1/4 swap

Hello i was wondering what i need in order to switch my 7.25 rearend to an 8.25 rear end? I now im going to have to get better springs, u bolts, and shock plates. But am i going to have to shorten the drive shaft at all?

I did this swap last spring. You'll need the 8 1/4 shock plates and get new
u bolts, not the cheap ones. The Mopar bolts that have the serations to stay in place. I reused the leaf springs. Also had my driveshaft shortened
an 1 5/8 and fits perfect.

Depending on your year and model you may have to change the wheels also.
