rear end on a 65 valiant

What size rear end would be on my 65 valiant v200, slant six 904. What are my choices for changing over to a sure grip?

It came from the factory with the 7-1/4. You could upgrade with a 8-1/4 or 8-3/4. Sure grip was available for all three. It would pretty much be a waste of time upgrading the 7-1/4 to sure grip unless you just stumbled upon one.

you will want to get the 10 inch drums with the 8 3/4, you can still use SBP axels.

As far as I know all factory installed A-body 8 3/4 axles came small bolt with 10 by 1 3/4 drums.
