You sure the Dakota is a 7 1/4? I think they came with 8 1/4's.

I dont have a difinative answer to your question . I do know how the mfgrs like to change things though. I would expect to find many differences in the late model rear like bolt spacing, metric dimensions and hardware, improved tooth geometry. I've been wrong before. Good luck
