Driver's side rear window

So the window doesn't roll up all the way unless I pull it with my other hand. Even then it doesn't go up all the way, but it does hold while up.

Obviously I can't expect you guys to diagnose the problem sight unseen but Iw as wondering if (given how tight is is just to see in there) if there was anyplace that came to mind as a starting point for troubleshooting? Is there anything that might "typically" be a problem here?

thanks,
robert

You may check the gear and/ or housing that your window crank attaches to. This gear meshes with the large gear on the regulator and it`s probably either stripped or the housing its mounted in ,is wallowed out so far it`s allowed the shaft enough room to back out and miss mating with the teeth on the large gear. There`s also a set of rollers that ride along a round bar that are often broken, loose, or missing. A good lube job on the rollers and bars will probably help alot. If you have a bad regulator and you find a pair, I`ll share the cost with you as I need one for the right side.

just like LG said, check and grease the rollers, check the regulator. does the regulator turn and the window doesn't move? if you have a FSM, they show the steps to take to adjust up/down and fore/aft of the windows. the grease in there might be older than dirt.

Make sure the back roller is there, they are prone to break. I had to replace mine on my Dart and my dad's Coronet.
