I would like to install rear speakers in my Demon, and I'd also like to put in a rear window defogger. Here's my dilemma - since it appears that the defogger was designed to install in the same place as a speaker, it would seem that I can have either one speaker and a defogger, or two speakers and no defogger.

My intention is to keep the installation "correct" for my model, so can anyone shed some light on this for me? Were dual rear speakers even offered on a 71 Demon? I am guessing not.

Thanks,

Michael Anzalone

no info here. but am curious on this also. going to put a defogger in my 68 fastback fish, but already have the interior done and not going to tear it apart-----boib

doubt they came with dual speakers with a rear defrost. like ya said the defroster goes right where a speaker would.

most of these cars had one speaker in the dash. very unusual to see them with speakers on the rear shelf. So to have a combo of both was probably something that never happened.

I have the factory speaker/defog adapters in mine here are some bad pics, it works fine. Just need the right type of grills for the air to pass through. Also had to cat a notch in the trunk lid support area a bit.
