Rear spring eye contacts frame

-
I have the Caltrack setup on my Demon. My rear 'stock' shackles are straight up 90 degrees from frame. It seems to me the issue is the front mount bolt hole location. If you can install the original front mounts in car and draw an imiginary line between the two, thats where your new springs mount bolt should be. Sounds like yours is too far back. Your best fix would be to redrill hole in the correct location. It may not hurt to measure the front and rear segment length of the new springs, and compare to the old ones, Caltrack could have made a mistake, but not likely.

If this helps, I measured my car. The front spring eye bolt centerline is 2" from the body brace that the front hanger is bolted to.

Thanks, my spring eye centerline is 2-5/8 from the stock frame. So Im 5/8 rearward. I did put a longer shackle in and its fine. later I may install sliders.
