When mounting a sway bar is there anything that says it has to point forward/backward or be mounted on top or bottom of the axle??
The reason I'm asking is that I found a rear bar from a 98 firebird that was about as bolt in as anything I've seen, the only issue is that it is mounted on top of the axle and the legs point toward the rear of the car. The only reason for doing it this way was to not interfere with any of the stock components. All I had to do was drill 4 holes in the rear rails to install the link connectors.
and yes I did run the suspension all of the way up and down to see if it hit anything. It's a small diameter bar compared to the front but I'm thinking something is better than nothing.... and the price was right...
