Rear tire sizing?

-
Well when it comes to our Mopars no 2 are alike as tolerances vary.
Some may rub and possible only on one side.
Saying that, you maybe ok. Tho stock 14'' rims aren't very wide for a 60 series tire.
I would say yes as I ran 225 60 15's on my 67 Dart. My 15'' rims were 7'' wide.

You do know that the 245/60 is the biggest new 14" tire you can get now, right? Anything bigger is an antique.
And a 245/60 is a bit too fat for a 14x5.5 rim.

I've had all of these on the rear of mine with no issues:
245/60R14 on 14x7 wheels, sbp
255/60R15 on 15x7 wheels, 4.5 bs, sbp
275/60R15 on 15x8 wheels, 4.5 bs, bbp, bbp axles

If you want to stick with cheap steelies, I see 14x6 sbp rusty chrome reverse for sale all over fb and ebay all the time.
Paint them black, wider stock appearing wheels for low $.

widest I'd go on a 5.5" rim is 225. 225/70R14 fit with a ton of room to spare in either direction on my duster

un tubbed , 295 60 d15`s on my 68 fastback / rolled rear lip , front leading edge to inner fender line , which matches the body line perfectly , 3/4'' offset spring hangars ...have never touched , with else tires or 295 drag radials , which wouldn't hook either ..
