I am picking up a fastback rear window for my 68 barracuda is there any specific way I should prepare it for transport to keep it in one peace. Thanks

I just wrap them in moving blankets and tape the blankets shut then put it in the back of my truck with the concave side up...

I stand them up , wrapped in a moving blanket ! Make sure they don't fall over.

Be sure there are no stones, pebbles or other hard pointy surfaces when you wrap it up. tempered glass is VERY sensitive to hard pointy objects. I'm sure you have seen cops and people trying to break into a car with a club or other object only for the side glass to stand up. But a person with an automatic center punch and the glass shatters in a split second.

If it was me I would bring along some strips card board and wrap it around the full edge of the glass before wrapping it in moving blankets.

Couple of years ago I had to haul a windshield for a 72 fury wagon from Murray Park's place in Ohio back to Illinois. I was out there camping anyway and I just slid a sleeping bag over it and laid it down in the bed of my truck on a couple of old quilts
