[WANTED] Rebuildable a904 Cable-Shift Transmission

I want to upgrade my 1964 Dart from Slant to SB-318. I have a motor but need a transmission. I want to keep my push-button but just can't afford going with a late model transmission and Schumacher cables.

Looking for anyone on the west coast with a transmission for sale?

Is the 65 different?
The 64s used two cables, right? The 65s used just one I thought. I have a spare 65 V8 type 904 I pulled from a 65 Valiant Signet.

Yes the 64's had a separate cable for park. The 64's also had the flange type set up for the drive shaft

Cmpierce.. the 65 trans isn't compatible with the push button setup.

have one that is behind a running poly 318 we pulled out of our 65 belvedere. it wasn't push button but is cable shifted. located in santa clara pm me if interested.

Here's what little I know..........The 904 I took out of my 65 Barracuda had 2 cables, one for gear selection and one for park; both connected to a floor mounted shifter.
