Rebuilding a Holley 600

I don't think that is a TRUE trick kit. Last one I bought had a selection of vacuum secondary springs, five or six accelerator pump cams, and I think a small selection of shooters.

But still had brown gaskets, unlike the nice blue ones in the jegs kits.

The part number on the side should differ.
The first two boxes the guy brought out were the same size and shape but were heavier and over four times the price.

Yeah that's what you got. Regular kits in Trick Kit boxes. Part number and contents are all that really matters. Alrighty then.

The blue gaskets are the ONLY way to go. I remember trying to remove the OE paper gaskets they were built with. UGH.

The tip to remember when using blue gaskets. Don't over torque the fasteners. Those gaskets require very little torque to seal and if you over torque them, they will stick and tear all up just like the old style gaskets.
