New to web site- looks like a great source. Finally getting around to working on 340 Duster i've had for 30+ years. Original, low miles, but years ago used a Carter Strip Kit to try rejetting carb after swapping 3.55s for 2.76 gears. :angry7: Would like to know what the original OEM rods/jets should have been (they are mixed in with the others in the strip kit) and will probably put set of 3.23s in car when having slightly higher performance rebuild done on engine later in year.

What is the carbs number?
Drivers rear mounting pad is where you'll find the number, 4 digits normally followed by the letter "S."

No no, need the one where I described, thats the key to wha it is and whats in it.

Thanks! It is stamped with 6139S with the numbers 298 below it. Never would have known.. I'll check out that link. . .

Looks like Primaries should be .095 and Rods .072/.060/.045

I appreciate the help. Not sure if going through the rejetting was really necessary just for a gearing change. Probably hang on to the kit for now in case changes are needed.
